Celebrate Women’s History Month and the YWCA of Greater Miami-Dade’s Centennial on a tour with the YWCA’s Kerry –Ann Royes and HistoryMiami Museum’s Resident Historian, Dr. Paul George. Reflect upon the lives of women who have shaped Miami, including early pioneers Julia Tuttle, Mariah Brown, and Flora McFarlane. Learn how Mary Glenn Jackson led the effort to establish the local chapter of the YWCA in 1919, giving voice to the women and families of this community.
