Delve into the history of Homestead and the Redland on a coach tour with HistoryMiami Museum’s Resident Historian, Dr. Paul George. Hear stories of Homestead’s “First Citizen” – William J. Krome – as you drive along the road that bears his name. Tour the Historic Town Hall Museum and the Seminole Theatre, located in the historic district of Downtown Homestead. Visit the site of the Fuchs family homestead, now RF Orchids, and learn about the pioneer family who still resides there. Enjoy local haunts including Knaus Berry Farm, Robert is Here, and the Fruit & Spice Park as you explore the exciting history of some of South Dade’s communities.
