Biscayne: A History and Appreciation
Biscayne Bay is a remarkable place, a tropical lagoon with a metropolis as its neighbor. Kirsten Hines and Dr. James Kushlan tell the story of this landscape, the history of the peoples and the story of Biscayne National Park, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year.
In this lecture, our speakers tell the story of the bay with historic and contemporary images. Their new book Biscayne National Park will be available for signing and purchase following the lecture.
