10:00 AM – 12:00 PM | Sensory-Friendly Time
Lower noise. A gentler space. Sensory-Friendly Time is designed for families of children, teenagers, and young adults who are neurodiverse, on the autism spectrum, have sensory processing and/or cognitive accommodation needs. We provide inclusive experiences for the whole family! Explore the museum’s exhibitions and enjoy the galleries at your own pace. Come and make lasting memories with your family in a welcoming and accommodating environment!

- Turn school breaks into a historical adventure! All students are invited to experience the Museum of Miami completely for free on select dates when school is out during the 2026-2027 school year.
Available 2026-2027 Dates
- Teacher Planning Days: Friday, December 18, 2026, and/or Wednesday, March 10, 2027.
- Winter Recess: Wednesday, December 23, 2026.
- Spring Break: Wednesday, March 24, Thursday, March 25, and/or Friday, March 26, 2027.
- Hours of Operation: 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM.
- Requirements: Advance registration is required, and any student under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a legal guardian.

- Requirements: Advance registration is required for both the self-guided entry and the guided tour. Students must be accompanied by a legal guardian to enter the museum.
